Tell-Tale Indicator

According to API520, ASME VIII, ISO4126,GB567 and GB38599,the pressure in the cavity is either monitored and/or vented to atmosphere. This is commonly achieved through the use of a so-called tell-tale assembly consisting of pressure gauge or indicator, excessive flow valve and free vent. 

Use of rupture disc in combination with safety relief valve 

• Prevent leakage through the relief valve

• Prevent corrosion of the relief valve internals

• The use of “standard” material relief valves and related spare parts, resulting in substantial cost savings at the initial investment and spares

• Extend the service life of safety relief valves
